Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Cleaning
Ensure that the filters in the base of the washing compartment are regularly cleaned and correctly positioned. Dirty or incorrectly positioned filters can lead to poor washing results.
Check Water Inlet Hose
Inspect the water inlet hose for correct placement without bends or squashes, and clean the filter in the threaded hose fitting to prevent blockages.
Use Correct Detergents
Only use products specifically designed for dishwashers such as detergent, salt, and rinse aid. Avoid overuse to prevent residue build-up.
Avoid Pre-Washing
Do not pre-wash dishes under running water. Instead, select the appropriate wash program based on the nature and degree of the soiling.
Adjust Water Softener
Ensure the water softener is correctly adjusted to prevent limescale deposits on your dishes.
